Talking to people in the last few days about the Picklet project. One of the things to come out of that is the identity of the Picklet Store, which I hadn’t previously considered as a separate entity. I’ve been lumping it together with the PickletReader iPhone app since purchasing picklets will happen within the app, but it’s mostly a server-side implementation closely linked to the Builder web app, and I’m getting close enough to start seeing some detail in it.

So this evening I’ve set up a CNAME record for the subdomain which currently just points to the picklet-builder instance on App Engine. That feels like the right thing to do. I briefly looked at the Apple dev documentation for the Store Kit but it was only idle viewing. I don’t really have a plan at this point.
